Facebook for iPhone

With the recent announcement of the iPhone SDK, Six Apart has said they wish to develop a stand alone application for TypePad. I can only hope they will do the same for Vox.

The iPhone web application for Facebook is awesome. It still needs a little improvement (like some of the buttons to post are small or in an awkward location).

Very often I want to comment on a Vox post on my iPhone, but I can't Safari on the iPhone is not compatible with Vox.

Adding a customized web application will make the mobile Vox experience that much more enjoyable. There is, of course the actual mobile applications for Palm and Windows Mobile (I am sure a Vox application for iPhone will be in development soon) but they don't allow you to browse content or comment. The optimized Vox mobile page can do that. Too bad I can't force Vox to use that view.

Please Vox, add an optimized iPhone interface.

Stubborn

I am trying to switch my wife completely over to VOX from Blogger. Currently she is double posting on BOTH sites. Please send her a message telling her to ditch Blogger in favor of VOX!

I have decided to move toVox as my blog of choice. It offer so much more than Blogger AND they have a free mobile publishing application for smartphones and mobile devices. Granted the community is "locked-down" meaning that you have to be a member, but it is free and bolsters community which blogger does not do. Vox is very "web 2.0".

Hello! This is my first post on Vox. I am a blogger that has been doing "it" since about 2002. I have had many homes, my most recent is Blogger. My currnent blog there is Mobile Ranting. I ramble on just aboout anything there.

I have heard nothing but postive things about Vox. Lilia Ahner was very kind sending me an invite. I first heard of Vox from the Inside the Net podcast that interviewed one of Six Apart's founders, Mena Trott. I really enjoyed that interview and made encouraged me to evaluate what Vox has to offer. I am still in my infancy, but I really like some of the features thus far such as the abilty to connect to your Flickr and Photobucket acounts. Importing data from sources such as Amazon was brilliant too.

Kudos to the Vox team!
